Happy May, and Happy Mother's Day!

By Car (Carolyn Reynolds)

I do hope this month brings you all the happiness it can bring, and that your weather is as beautiful as the month of May often is where I live. I know I look forward to this time of the year and all the beauty around me.

I do hope you visited our two new sections we introduced last month.  If you will look at the navigation bar to your left note a new section called Our Pride and Joy! Two of our writers have recently been blessed with their first grandbabies, and the suggestion came from both MommyBear and Margaret to have a section in the magazine where we can all include pictures of our family, our pets, really anything you'd like to share with others.  Do  visit again this month  and see the new ones!

The other new section was also suggested by Margaret, and we'll see if it goes. It's called Durable Goods Exchange, and it's for posting if you have a need for any kind of equipment, or if you have anything you'd like to get to someone who needs it.  We hope this can become a service to anyone who needs to use it. And speaking of a service to you, try our Tips and Tricks for all kinds of good information, recipes included!

This issue just might be that breath of spring you are needing. Our Features are excellent again this month!  You can get a bit of a summary of our get-together in St. Louis, will more to follow next month.   And Clara is keeping Loren alive yet by including another segment of the extended story she and Loren had written and finished right before he became too sick to write.  I know you'll enjoy this, and all the other short stories you'll find in our Fiction this month.  Our Poetry is loaded with some extra special ones for you to enjoy this month, also.

Our usual variety is there for you in Real Life Stories, too. Please read and enjoy all. There is no  Forwards section this month, I'll let you know if this continues later.  FYI is another fully loaded section this month, lots about MS and other information we hope you also find useful.  Oh yes, and then there's our Theme Our writers have really responded to this month's theme with some unique writings about caregivers.

You will find much more reading in our Other Monthly sections. That's where you'll find Ahead to June  with our next suggested Theme.  I encourage you to always write and send in anything you'd like, regardless of theme. But the theme is a suggestion that most seem to enjoy writing about month to month.  If you've missed any of the past two year's issues, you'll find them in our Archives.  We've been around for a long time now!   Thanks, Scott, for getting the spammers out of our Guestbook. Now our new readers can get in there and leave us a message without wading through so much unwanted stuff!

Looking for a fun Web Community to join? The World of MS MuSings is an outgrowth of this magazine, and it just might be what you are looking for.  There are lots of great folks there.

Most of all, keep on enjoying the Spring season and our magazine!
