Poem

More Thoughts on Love, And Fireflies

By JannSSS

Fireflies in the night, impossible beauty,

And yet, true. Something no

one could have made up...

But, real. Blinking in and out of our

perception,

It's gone, then it's there.

People will say it's an

Hallucination,

a figment,

unreal...a dream.

If one has never seen

a firefly, can one believe in them?

It sounds like mad ravings,

mere wishful thinking.

Nothing so good can be real. Or,

it's ephemeral, Temporary, only of the

Season. With Autumn's cold Winds, the magic is swept

away.

But it's there, it's true, it's real. It's rare, it's the most Exquisite of gems or

kittens, or Living Lights.

Believe in it. Two people can make it, together,

And it will kindle, and live.

It's worth your time to hunt for fireflies.

It's worth the effort to create love.
