Playing this Page: Memories

Three  years ago this month MS MuSings had its first launch with eight writers and not a lot of pages, but we were online! I hope you enjoy reading our Theme articles this month to see how many of our writers feel about putting their words online each month. You'll find some real inspiration there! This magazine wouldn't happen each month without the efforts of so many. . . and I love and appreciate all of you!

I know you wonder, is what we have here being read?  I don't put a counter on the magazine because I think they give a false reading of  the traffic on a site. But I do have a member service through our web host, healingwell.com.  It gives me pages viewed plus "unique" visitors each day. The uniques are counted once per day by the address you arrive from. . .  so, if you're going in more than once a day, you are just counted one time that day.  This month I've kept track day to day. Since August went online July 31 to Wed., Aug.28. . . .  we have had 7,950 pages viewed by 1,799 unique visitors. Are you impressed??  I know I'm just pinching myself to think about it!

Real Life Stories section is so loaded with good this month! We have a variety of stories, many of which will again inspire you, and there are also a few good forwards that different friends send.  I  hope you'll have a laugh or shed a tear, or just let your heart beat a little faster while reading these beauties.

Take the time to feast on our Poetry and Short Stories this month. A few of our writers are having fun teaming up on poems and stories, and the results are just twice as nice. Our regular Features are loaded this month, too!  There is always much good to be found on those pages, also. Get yourself a favorite and follow it month to month.

FYI contains a lot of useful information about MS and other topics, too. I'm always glad to see this coming in each month.  You'll find more information in our Related Links, so sit down some time when you have a little spare time and visit some of those sites linked.

We have been given many Awards and are proud to display them here. Thanks again to all who have honored us with their Awards. You can see many of us in our Gallery section. Come put faces on the people you are reading! Our writers for this issue are listed on the Who's in this Issue  page, and there are also guidelines there for writing if you'd like to join in with us next month. See what we have in mind on the Ahead to October page. If you are new to us, please sign our Guestbook, and you can see this years past issues in our Archives.

If anyone is interested in our first 27 issues, I do have them on CD for $8.00, and this does include shipping.  Please drop me an email if you are interested and I'll tell you how it's done.

A click to the banner above places your vote for us among the World's Top 100 MS Sites!
