This Complicated Thing Called Love

By Car (Carolyn Reynolds)

Yeah yeah, February will be upon us soon, and with it comes that cupid thing with the arrows, hearts and flowers, thoughts of romance and on and on. Is Valentine's Day just another excuse to push candy and greeting cards? How about for our Feb. issue we take a gloves off look at the complications of love when one or the other of a couple is fighting with a chronic adversary.

I know many of you have a wonderful relationship going, and please share that with us. But I also know that many of us struggle with our relationships, and that's a painful cross.  Are there things we could be doing to make our situations better?  Is there any hope for reigniting fires that have burned down to a flicker?

I know this is a tough subject, but let's attack it and just see if we can learn from each other. Please, share some wisdom about relationships and MS.  We could all stand to be educated!

I'm sure this won't be a downer when it comes to our Theme. I know many MSers with wonderful and caring spouses, and they will be sharing those stories with us.  And for those who are struggling, let us hear about your battles and maybe someone can help with some good suggestions.

Just like always, anything you would like to write about is just fine.  We have some outstanding poets and short story writers here, and they always come through!  Please, if you are thinking you'd like to give a poem or short story a try, don't be shy.  We'd welcome hearing from anyone!

I wish all of you the very best that 2004 can bring you!
