Is It HOT Where You Are?

By Car (Carolyn Reynolds)

Shew whee it sure is where I am! But I've got an idea to help you cool off! Sit down in your comfortable chair, put your feet up, be sure you have a tall iced glass of your favorite beverage and settle in to reading this month's MS MuSings! I guarantee there is enough here to keep you busy for not just one day, but for many. Even if you just look around to see what's here for you, I bet that will take time enough for you to cool way down.

If you've just found us, rest assured we go way beyond this homepage. Look over to your left and you'll see our many sections. Click on Features, or here on the red features I just typed, and you are going to find our regular columns. You'll fine some humor, some of religious content, some general information, some down right funny ones, even another link to our Gallery where you can see pictures and short biographies of many of the folks you find here. Anytime you see a hot link, like here on this page or to the left of any page, you will find access to our many and varied sections.

Talk about variety, you are going to find so much of that in our Real Life Stories. You'll notice three sections on its Table of Contents. The first section will show you just how enabled many folks with MS or other chronic conditions really are. You'll see it sure does not look like a resting place for people with MS. The next section down contains many Inspirational pieces, most of them general forwards from the internet, so please have a look at these. The final section contains more forwards from our readers, many of a humorous nature. You'll have a fun time reading and looking at the many pictures in our Real Life Stories.

Moving on down the navigation bar on your left you'll come onto my favorite section of the magazine, Poetry. Let me tell you, I do believe we have here some of the finest poets you'll find anywhere. Same goes for the Short Stories in Fiction. Let us take you away from it all with some poems or short stories.

FYI is where you'll find many links to what is happening with MS, or even with some other health matters.

In our Theme section you can read writing on our monthly theme, this month dealing with the heat. For those with MS, you'll relate to these articles and maybe find some good information to help you beat that heat.

Moving right along find Tips and Tricks for some recipes and some good tips on all sorts of topics. This is a fun and informative section of our magazine. For more fun, check Our Pride and Joy. When our writers have something special to share from their lives in a picture, you'll find those pictures in this section.

We offer you a Related Links page that you'll just need to spend some time looking around in. Help yourself to many amazing places that you just might choose to save to your own favorites. Have you thought about writing something yourself for MS MuSings?  Who's in Issue 95 has a grid filled with those who have this month, and some general directions on how you, too, can write for this magazine. It's not at all complicated to become one of us. If you are wondering what the new theme will be for next month, Ahead to September shows you what we have in mind. This in no ways limits you to what you can write about, just write what's on your heart.

The Awards page gives you an idea of some recognition we have gotten through our years online. You can fine short biographies and pictures of many of our regulars in our Gallery.

When it happens you haven't finished one issue before there's a new one online for you, have no fear, our Archives can help. There's where you'll find our issues from the last few years, so you'll never run our of good reading. We'd love to hear what you think of us, so either use the email address following most articles, or sign into our Guestbook.

The World of MS MuSings is an outgrowth from this magazine managed by one of our writers, Pincushion. If you are looking for an MS community that is friendly and fun, please stop in and take a look around.

Well my friends, I've just guided you all the way down our navigation bar, so the rest is now up to you. I do hope you enjoy what you find here and come back month to month to continue reading MS MuSings.
