April Showers Bringing May Flowers?

By Car (Carolyn Reynolds)

Isn't it wonderful to welcome springtime? I'm so fortunate to live where the seasons change four times a year; it'd be hard for me to imagine living anywhere else! We welcome you to our April Issue, and it just may be the biggest one we've had.  It seems the changing of the seasons has gotten many writers in high gear with their stories, poems, articles.  And we can't forget the unexpected recall of the latest MS drug, Tysabri. You'll find information on this in our FYI this month, along with other informative articles about MS and other important issues.

If you've just found us, let me introduce you to our Navigation Bar to your left on each page.  Each click will take you to another section of the magazine.  With each Table of Contents you open you'll find a list of the articles you'll find there.  Our Poetry and Fiction stay strong each month with poems and stories to delight you, or maybe cause you to shed a tear or two. Please take the time to read each of them.

Real Life Stories are always important to the magazine, and we know you'll find them to your liking. They are always eclectic and fun to read, letting you get a glimpse into the lives of many living with MS.  I know you'll find that this is one very energetic group of people!  Get to know many of our regular writers in the Features section.  These are columns that appear regularly here, and like the rest of the magazine also offer a wide variety, so you're sure to find a columnist you really want to follow.  You'll find even more about our writers in the Theme section this month. These articles are so sensitive and open that we just know you'll enjoy reading each and every one of them.

Don't forget to explore the Related Links, or see Who's in this Issue and find out how you can write and submit something yourself for our next issue. See the many Awards we've received since our first issue in September 1999.  Ahead to May leads you to our next theme with a few suggestions on how to get started writing a theme article.

If you'd like to leave a message to us, please do so in our Guestbook, or you can write me or any of the writers with an email address following their article.  Meet many of our writers in our Gallery where you'll find pictures and short biographies of lots of us.  You'll find many of our past issues in the Archives.  I believe these go back all the way through January 2004.

Welcome to MS MuSings!  Sit back and lose yourself in many good reads this month.
