~Happy New Year~

The hustle bustle of the Holidays is now over. . . . and the calendar tells us another new year is upon us. Where does time go?  It seems it was only yesterday. . . .

But the new year dawns and with it we hold out the hope that some great things will happen with the treatment of MS in the year 2003.  Of all the people I've met in life, I've not met any with any more optimism about the future than people with Multiple Sclerosis. Does that seem strange to you?  Does it seem odd that those of us battling this chronic illness can still be optimistic about our own lives?

Check out the articles in our Theme for the new year and you'll see some of what I'm talking about. It's hard to read these and not come away with a little glimmer of hope. You can also find that glow in some articles in Real Life Stories, and in the Poems and Fiction this month.  As always, the Regular Features are also loaded with optimism, a little bit of humor, and just some in-general feel good material!

There are bits and pieces of good information either linked or in our FYI as always. I hope the next months will bring in even more information about what's new and current with MS research and treatment options for us.  Visit our Gallery and meet some of us!

Please, visit all the sections of the magazine and see what all has come in this month! If you're a regular reader, you'll know that the navigation bar on the left appears on each page and will take you wherever you want to go. Our Related Links page is a wealth of information in links to other sites sent in by our readers. If ever you find a link that is no longer working, please let me know and I'll either do away with it or find the current address.  I thank you in advance for helping me with that job!

Please enjoy your visit, and come back often. You will find a new issue online around the first of each month.  We like to keep the magazine fresh and new. If you want to comment, you can do so by either writing me at the magazine or emailing anyone whose articles you find here. We love to hear from you! If  you're new to the magazine, visit our Guestbook and sign in with your comments.
