Welcome to Our Issue 119!

By Car

On this side of the world the weather has again been too strange to understand....hot where it used to never get hot, unusual cool spells where the humidity is usually prohibitive, and the list goes on and on. I hope you folks on the other side of the Earth are getting a better mix for your current season.

Well, for your reading enjoyment we are again loaded full to the brim, so grab a cool drink and a comfortable seat and settle in for some good rest and relaxation. I encourage you to explore all over our sections this month, and get acquainted with the new ones: MS and ME, a place I can now post stories about dealing with MS, Relax MuSings, a place I've tried to place some fun posts for just enjoying and leaving with a smile, or maybe you'd like to visit Autoimmune where folks with other ailments besides MS can place bits of information about their illnesses.

Now back to our tried and true sections beginning with our Features, a place our regular writers, at least most of them, can be found. I know you'll become attached to more than one of these regulars. Be sure to drop our writers in any of these sections a note to let them know how they're doing. These notes are always appreciated.

Silly me, I somehow thought our Real Life Stories might suffer when I put in Melax MuSings, but not even a little has been lost. Here you'll also find a great and enlightening section of Inspirations, and also some funnies in our Forwards. This is a good place for those not feeling like writers can still send in something for the magazine.

Poetry and Fiction still take prime spots in the magazine. After all, that was where this all began. I encourage anyone who likes to explore their creative side to take a try at writing some poems or short stories. They are always welcome. I've even separated a section for Sherry's poems on the poetry table of contents to accommodate more of her poems each month.

Our Theme for this month was to encourage you to write about any wish you would have come true for yourself. I've enjoyed reading these, but wish more of you had offered your input. This was a fun theme. Look out next month, and be sure to read Ahead to September because we are celebrating ten years online with the upcoming issue. Sure do hope a lot of you write to this Theme.

Tips and Tricks is always an interesting and informative part of the magazine, and Grace has become a regular compiler of interesting links for this section. We enjoy seeing what she finds each month.

Should I be blushing? Guess I'm the only one with anything for Our Pride and Joy this month. Hope you enjoy in spite it's just me and mine again.

Published Works showcases many of us who have had things published outside this magazine. There you can find information about where you can purchase these works if you'd like.

Oops, I almost forgot to highlight FYI where we try to keep you informed about what is happening with MS, and also some other helpful information. Please take the time to read and stay informed.

The Gallery showcases more than 100 of our regulars, and a few who have left us, too, and helps you put faces to the people you see in here often. It's an interesting place to visit.

Awards shows you the different recognitions we've gotten over the years. We are proud of these! Who's in Issue 119 is a place I put the names of all who are appearing in some way in the current issue. I believe there were 69 names on the list when I was typing up this page.

If you try to make your way through all of our Related Links and find some no longer linked, please let me know. It seems like things change fast on the internet, including addresses.

Now, if you can't get enough to read in this issue, please go in and explore all 119 of our issues in Archives. Also, we'd love it if you are visiting here for the first time, or just give us an opinion in our Guestbook. It's there for you.

Friends of MS MuSings attempts to keep us connecting outside the magazine. Visit there and see what it's all about.

We sure do hope you enjoy your visiting to this site. Bookmark us and come back until you've read it all, then it'll be time for the next month's issue to appear!
