ANOTHER MOTHER'S DAY!

By Jan4ever (Janice Bronstein)

My mother has been gone now for ten years,

I thought she'd be with me forever to help my fears!

All holidays and her birthday are so hard for me,

There is so much in my life she won't be able to see!

We were so close and did so much together,

It hurt so much when I had to move to Florida for the weather!

Everyday I want to pick up the phone and want to call her,

How my heart breaks when I realize she's not there!

My life has been going up and down,

Some days I just walk around with a frown!

Then there are the days everything seems to go right,

When I get up on my horse and just take flight!

My parents were the first ones to take me riding,

How it would have thrilled them not to see me sliding!

Again this year Mother's Day will come and go,

And my mind will remember her with a slide show!

I'll think of all the great times we had,

Be thankful she's now at peace and not feel bad!

I'm blessed to have know such a remarkable woman,

She left me so proud to be this human!
