Poem

By Sherry Kersey
Where Is That Sunshine?

Oh where ,oh where is that sunshine
promised for the days of Spring,
This avalanche of Arkansas rains
has become a weary threatening sting.

When will old sol begin his task
of joy warming... good grief the flowers
have plenty of moisture yet `no relief in sight,
Even the honey bees cant take flight!

I love rain dancing
but Enoughs Enough,
Guess I`m gonna have to
give God a call and get Tough!

I wanna Dance- I wanna Sing
I wanna feel the exquisite joys of Spring,
I usually love the month of April
Showers `but these constant flood warnings
are *with no lengthening sunrays *
stealing my happy springs zing.
*Com`n Sun!
