Poem

A pair of love poems from Johnna Crooker, written for a special person

Until We Meet Again

Johnna Crooker

Until we meet again

I will remember the time we shared our first smile,

I remember it like it was yesterday,

Even though it's been awhile.

Until we meet again

I will regret not giving you that first kiss,

Because I considered another's feelings first,

That's what I had to miss.

Until we meet again

I will cherish the day you held me close,

And our exchange of kisses and hugs,

When just being with you meant the most.

Until we meet again...

I will remember how I felt,

When you first told me you loved me,

And I knew you made my heart melt.

Until we meet again...

I will stay lost in the moment with you,

Thinking of your eyes, your smile, and tender touch,

And the many things with you I want to pursue.

And when we meet again...

I will collapse in your arms while you hold me tight,

And kiss you passionately,

And think to myself how I know this is right.

And when we meet again...

I will rest my head upon your chest and feel the beat of your heart,

And tell you I love you more than you know,

And hope we will never part.

And when we meet again...

I will prove you're my one and only,

And I'll be your crying shoulder,

So you can always depend upon me.

And when we meet again...

I'll never ever let you go,

My feelings for you are beyond words,

And sometimes they won’t show.

But until we meet again...

I'll miss my lover and my friend,

And I'll be counting all the days,

Until we meet again.

Just another love poem, probably my favorite.

You're My

Johnna Crooker

You're my smile when I hold a frown,

You're my happiness when I am down,

You're my eyes when I cannot see,

And mine forever, I hope you will be.

You're my strength when I am weak,

You're my voice when I can't speak,

You're my warmth on a cold winter day,

And with you, forever I will stay.

You're my nose when I cannot smell,

You're my brain when I cannot spell,

And when it's dark, you are my light,

You're the one I wish to hold all night.

You're my rest when I cannot sleep,

You're my secret I could never keep,

You're my sun when I need to shine,

And your love I want to forever be mine.

You're my lungs when it's hard to breathe,

And when I'm scared you rescue me,

When I'm forgotten, you're always there,

And about you I will always care.

You came as my answered prayer,

And if I'm lonely, I know you're there,

You're always near when I need a hand,

You're my one and only man.

You're the thief who stole my heart,

Baby, you're my life, I never want to part,

My feelings for you are stronger than ever,

I love you so much and will be yours forever!
