Playing this Page: Rhythm of the Falling Rain EEKK....Exercise??? By Car You've got to be kidding, I say to myself while trying to get back to doing the rotations of leg exercises while hanging onto my kitchen counter. I used to do those religiously, having gotten up to 30 of each rotation. Then came the dislocated shoulder in a bad fall. The sling, then the pain, the inability to do anything at all with the right arm that seemed to go on and on endlessly. Well, actually it did go on for about a year. In that time I so got out of the good habit of doing the exercises. Yes, it has made a big difference. I'm losing ground and don't seem to be able to get that momentum back. Is it MS or is it me? Who knows. So the theme for April is going to be exercise. How important is it? Do you manage to do it? What exercises can you do? This is not in any way a slam for anyone who can't because of the MS, or anyone who has no problem at all because of the MS. It's just a searching question, asking what is being done and how important is it to you in fighting your MS. I know I could sure use some ideas on this subject. Maybe you can say something to get me back to my 30 each rotation, and back to feeling better about myself. And if it could help me.....well I just bet what you have to offer could help many. Let us know where you are in this matter of exercise. Please? Maybe some good exercise could just help the time pass till spring is finally here, you think?
